Already holding the number one spot on the iTunes charts in 100 countries, visual is an understatement for the art that is displayed on Beyonce’s self titled masterpiece. The album has some of the best features witnessed by any other artist this year. Featured on the album are, Frank Ocean, Drake, Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, Bey’s husband Jay Z, and even their precious toddler Blue Ivy Carter.

The most visually remarkable of the 17 videos are Mine, featuring Drake, and Ghost, a song where Beyonce discusses her frustration with her career and music.
Mine ft. Drake, is the tale of a woman and a man declaring their almost obsessive love with one another. Everything from the visuals to the choreography is artistic in the Mine video. Dancers are seen with shirts over their heads with MINE/YOURS written across the shirts. The choreography is almost tribal, chants and jerkish movements similar to African dance can be seen throughout the entire video. Here are some stills from Beyonce’s video Mine:
Beyonce is seen in pewter silk garments accented by her signature blonde tresses cut into a trendy bob style.
Ghost is completly out Beyonce’s comfort zone; the singer stepped out of her element. Giving me a Erykah Badu vibe, Bey melodically recited spoken word baring it all on the record. Here’s a glipse of Beyonce’s video Ghost:
Dressed in black veil, wearing light makeup, with her hair pulled back into a ponytail, Bey made sure that we felt every world that she recited.
I’ve gotten a great deal of slack for calling Beyonce’s return a comeback. Being an admirer of her work ethic since Destiny’s Child, I missed the country diva from Houston, Texas! Beyonce has always given 110% in everything that she does however, I felt that she’d loss her hunger. Performances were repetitive, and semi robotic, who knew the woman herself actually grew bored with her routine? On Friday December 13th, 2013, Beyonce reminded us that she’s the Head “Bey” in Charge, and she’s out for blood!
