It’s Tea Time my lovely readers! Tonight, I am in awe after watching part two of The Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire. I’m not sure why I am surprised but, I am blown away! The costumes worn in the movie were nothing less than AMAZING!

Meet Trish Summerville:

This beauty is the mastermind behind the theatrical couture that we witnessed during Catching Fire. Trish is also known for her styling & designs in 2011’s gothic book-to-film hit “The girl with the dragon tattoo”. Although, some of Catching Fire’s costumes were nabbed straight from the runway, Trish’s designs were definitely just as good as the runway looks used! Trish Summerville channeled the style Gods to orchestrate quite a few masterpieces for this sequel. Characters wore designs by, Juun Jay, and the late Alexander McQueen, to name a few.

Trish’s designs took the award (my award!) for most creative and eye catching pieces in the film. Because of the high fashion, Trish Summerville teamed up with online retailer Net-A-Porter and Lionsgate films, to create a Hunger Games inspired line titled “Capitol Couture“. The 16 piece couture line will be available for purchase exclusively through Net-A-Porter on November 25th, 2013.

Here’s a look at some of Trish’s designs from the film:

After watching the movie, let me know what you thought of the glamour. What was your favorite design/scene from the film?
